What is CRICOS
CRICOS Code means Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students. CRICOS Australia maintains the quality of education in the country. This is the Australian government’s official website that lists all Australian education providers that offer courses to people studying in Australia on student visas and the courses offered.
The Australian government provides the CRICOS CODE for Education and Training providers that offer education for international students and learners.
Those institutions or course providers who invite overseas students to Australia must be CRICOS registered. This website lists all Australian education and training providers with their courses that are approved for non-Australian students.
Overseas Students are people who have student visas provided by the Government of Australia.
What is ASQA
ASQA stands for Australian Skills Quality Authority. This is the national regulator for Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector in Australia. ASQA maintains the quality of education and training in Australia for overseas students. It also maintains CRICOS standards. The course and training providers can register for CRICOS through ASQA.

Annual Registration Charge (ARC)

- $1505 base fee
- $10 per student enrolment per calendar year
- $115 for each course by location registered on CRICOS
- $1156 payable only by a provider against whom the minister imposed sections for non-compliance under section 83 of the ESOS act in the past 12 months.
